How do reciprocating piston compressors work?
A piston or series of pistons are driven by a crankshaft back and forth in a cylinder that compresses refrigerant or gases at high pressure. There’s an intake and ejection valve, releasing it’s pressure with high efficiency - more so than other compressor types.
